OaR Outdoors is a play on words, it isn't just about rowing on sleek Concept 2 rowers but the whole idea of exercising inside OR outside, which has always been my preference in San Francisco, summer or winter.
Formerly Corpo Sano at 1 Bernice, SF, my new fitness space and physical therapy studio is on the field of SF's semi-pro soccer team at 701 Mission Bay Blvd. Sign up for a free class.
During my days as a competitive cyclist I realized that a healthy mind in a healthy body gave me my competitive edge. I earned my personal training certification from The National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am also certified in a range of advanced training techniques, including Muscle Activation Techniques (neuromuscular testing and reprogramming), which enables me to pinpoint problem areas and make necessary manipulations and adjustments for treatment of sports injuries, as well as areas of stress and weakness.
Individual sessions include a range of advanced training techniques and utilize Muscle Activation Techniques (neuromuscular testing and reprogramming) to alleviate pain and maximize results and performance for clients regardless of age or fitness level.
Classes no larger than 10 offer the opportunity for personalized attention, with a focus on learning the safe use of equipment, proper form, and adjustments tailored to each person's level of fitness. And of course, FUN!
Start your day with a high energy workout in the sunshine and fresh air of Mission Bay. On rainy days, classes will be held “indoors” in a stylized, well equipped shipping container.
All workouts are varied each day to give you a total body workout. With personalized care and attention to your particular needs and pace, you will begin to enjoy life with more energy and less stress.
Corporate packages and special group fees are available for Mission Bay friends and neighbors.
Feeling like your body needs a reset? Muscular Activation Techniques (MAT) Therapy is also available (initial free consultation required prior to treatment).
